Mea Shearim

Israel. Jerusalem. Religious school in the orthodox Jewish district of Mea Shearim. The western wall in the wall of the lamentations: the most sacred site of Israel. Sanctuary of the Jewish faith, it is the place the closest to the rock or God révèla to Abraham. A piece of wall, approximately 15 metres high, length of hardly 150 metres and consisted of big blocks of limestones. Here is what what remains of the big temple built by Hérode and destroyed in the year 70 after Jesus Christ by the Roman troops of Titus.
