On August 15th of this year in this place, 150 motorcyclists come from all Europe collected to say stopping place in the Turkish occupation. Collisions between extremists from both directions provoked the death of Cyprian one Greek. Some days later the second demonstration made another victim. Since then sheaves of flowers and slogans are regularly put in this place. Dherynia also offers the best panorama to observe with twins the city of Famagousta and the ghost town of Varosha.
